• The heart of the village, inspired by the novel Clochemerle, written by Gabriel Chevallier.
• The alternation of vineyards, panoramic views, and forest trails.

• In spring, when nature is budding, and in autumn, when the forests and vines are adorned with red and gold.

A bit of culture:
Vaux-en-Beaujolais, a cultural and winegrowing village
Among the villages of France whose image has been built around illustrious figures, Vaux-en-Beaujolais earned its reputation thanks to Gabriel Chevallier.
In the 1930s, the novelist spent his vacations there. From Vaux, he praised the landscape: "Coming along the road from Salles, this village, which you see on the hillside, really pleased me, especially in the morning when it is bathed in sunlight." The magic of the place was at work, since Clochemerle strangely evokes Vaux-en-Beaujolais. By inaugurating a street named after him and the village cellar in 1956, Gabriel Chevallier linked the village to the novel. Attached to the colorful spirit of the book's characters, the people of Vaux cultivate culture and conviviality.
This identity is reinforced by the vineyard, a symbol of the art of living specific to wine-growing regions. Overlooking the Place du Tertre, the cellar is the showcase for the Beaujolais Villages AOC of Vaux-en-Beaujolais.
