The variety of spaces crossed with many passages in the undergrowth and panoramas: a bird’s-eye view of the Brévenne Valley from Grézieu, the crossing of the Bois de Pomeys with openings on the southern slope of the Monts du Lyonnais facing the Coise Valley, to the villages of St-Symphorien-sur-Coise and Larajasse.
The church of Grézieu-le-Marché built in local red granite and black stone from Volvic. Its architect, Ste-Marie-Perrin, designed Fourvière Cathedral with Pierre Bossan.

When and how to take advantage of it?

A “four seasons” hike to walk in the Monts du Lyonnais: cool in summer in the shade of the undergrowth, beautiful in winter when the snow covers the massif, essential in spring or autumn to observe the colourful metamorphoses of the vegetation.
In preparation for an autumn vigil, going out to pick mushrooms, chestnuts and blackberries*.
Picnic at the Gimond dam, take the time to take a nap, then do some stretching before heading back out on the trails.
