The Domaine La Dentelle offers you a delicate journey in a hamlet lost in the vineyards. A sensory trip where the wine has fun in the mouth. A walk with new flavors. And above all, the sharing of a passion that has been passed on from father to son.Ideally located between Beaujolais and Savoie, it is in the department of Ain that we find the small village of Gravelles, its steep slopes and its vineyards of Bugey-Cerdon AOC. It is also there, in a valley cradled by the sun, that one finds the green vineyards of the Domaine de la Dentelle. Passionate about wine, in love with the land and faithful to traditions, Marcel Perinet, first sommelier of France in 1977, created the estate in 2011. The story begins with a few parcels, a handful of volunteers and a lot of work. Today, a few years later, the Domaine de la Dentelle covers more than 6 hectares and its average production is already over 40 000 bottles per year. Concerned about quality, Marcel Perinet proposes a unique wine vinified according to the ancestral method. A fine and delicate sparkling rosé. Aroma, taste, color.
Bugey Cerdon producer
Passionate about working the land since I was a child, I turned to the vineyard 15 years ago to continue a family tradition that has been maintained for four generations.Originally from Saint Martin du Mont, a small authentic village typical of the Revermont region, once surrounded by vineyards and the birthplace of the "Cerdon" wine, it is quite natural that I established my domain there. This devouring passion that I have for the work of the vine and the elaboration of this unique wine is also the result of the challenge that I set myself: to re-establish and maintain the San-Martinois vineyard, which was decimated at the beginning of the 19th century by the phylloxera (100 hectares of vines before the invasion by the phylloxera, 20 hectares to date). As a winegrower and owner-harvester, I cultivate alone 2.5 hectares of vineyards, scattered over the green hills of San-Martin: Confranchette, Sous Coulis .... and Gravelles. After having been pampered and cherished during the first years of the domain's life, the old vines have been reinforced by the addition of new ones. My domain is now made up of old vines (vines on stakes) and young vines (vines on wires), composed of Gamay and Poulsard grapes. My exploitation does not have for objective the output, but the development of a wine of quality, with simple cultural practices. In order to respect nature and preserve biodiversity, I work my vines in a reasoned way: pruning and harvesting of the grapes by hand, grassing, adjusted organic contribution... thus giving a healthy and quality product.
