Discovering Ambly, Forrières, and Nassogne

This route invites you to discover magnificent panoramic views of the villages of Ambly, Forrières, and Nassogne as you wander along country paths and small roads.

Just a hundred meters or so after you set out, you’ll surely be intrigued by an old brewer’s cart. It bears witness to the area’s brewing history: it was on this farm—which is still in operation today—that the La Saint-Monon brewery was established.

Your walk will then take you to the foot of the Notre-Dame des Champs Chapel. Take a moment to enjoy this peaceful spot and admire the stunning landscape before you. An information sign will also let you learn more about the chapel’s history, particularly its dedication in 1936.

The route alternates between dirt paths and small roads, offering a pleasant immersion in the region’s rural landscapes.

Good to know: You can take a shortcut partway through the route, reducing the total distance to 6.9 km.
