N°14 Les belvédères

This route is intended for well-trained mountain bikers. Its length, steep climbs and technical descents earn it a black difficulty rating.

After a lovely descent to the banks of the Coise and an enjoyable but technical section through the woods, the route follows part of the Way of St James towards Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise. A more undulating stretch follows before crossing Meycillieux Wood. The ride then finishes with a gentle return to the village of Saint-Médard-en-Forez along fairly smooth, easy-going tracks.
