Description

"Discover the traces of the mining past of Rochonvillers and its church Saint-Luc, with its innovative architecture.
What is there to discover on your way? The Chapel of Notre-Dame de Bure, which according to legend could have two origins: Carolingian, Charlemagne would have stopped at this place; Miraculous, in the 7th century. In response to the prayers of the inhabitants who had no water, the Virgin is said to have miraculously caused a spring to spring up in the centre of Bure
Take a detour to the town of Tressange and the Fontaine-lavoir de Bure. A stone dated 1769 shows that it has been restored."
