Description

"Drive through Havange, across fields and through town and discover its hidden treasures. What is there to discover on your way? The Chapel of Our Lady of Bure, which according to legend could have two origins: Carolingian, Charlemagne would have stopped at this place; Miraculous, in the 7th century. In response to the prayers of the inhabitants who had no water, the Virgin is said to have miraculously caused a spring to spring up in the centre of Bure
Take a detour to the town of Tressange and the Fontaine-lavoir de Bure. A stone dated 1769 testifies to a restoration.
The path is partially equipped for people with reduced mobility."

ESPACES NATURELS PROTÉGÉS - PRAIRIE DE KILLEBRICK ET ZONES HUMIDES

La zone humide d'Havange se caractérise par une bande herbeuse étroite et toute en longueur épargnée de tout drainage ou usages modernes. On peut découvrir, seuls ou menés par une guide bénévole et passionnée, de nombreuses espèces végétales. Petit plus pour l'accompagnement et ses explications. Pour chacune des plantes, la guide donne des indications sur leur floraison, leur implantation, leur utilité. C’est ainsi que les visiteurs peuvent découvrir de la matricaire annuelle, des grandes fleurs violettes appelées cirsium palustre, des reines des prés, fleurs blanches médicinales, et bien d’autres. Puis les promeneurs s'enfoncent dans le bois où ils découvrent d’autres plantes et quelques orchidées.
