During this lovely walk, which partly follows the Lesse, you will have the opportunity to see the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Walcourt.
Framed by two venerable lime trees, this small oratory, dominating the hamlet of Lesse, dates from 1750. Placed under the protection of Our Lady of Walcourt, it is said to have been the scene of miraculous events. A pilgrimage to Saint Monon - who has a statue there - was maintained there for a long time to protect livestock and particularly pigs.
This signposted walk is included on the Libin walking map, which is available for €8 from the Maison du Tourisme de la Forêt de Saint-Hubert, the Libin Tourist Office and the Libin commune.
