At the foot of Le Praz ski lift, Courchevel Tourist Information has a kiosk open in summer and winter.
From Tourist Information, walk along Le Praz Lake to reach the village. After Hôtel des Peupliers, continue to Place de la Chapelle.
Walk along Allée des Cerisiers on the right of the chapel. The road leaves the village and turns into a dirt track (cross-country ski piste in winter).
Continue along the path through meadows and forests to the foot of Dent du Villard.
Cross over the first stream in a bend, the Montgellaz stream.
In a hairpin turn which is also a cross-country ski piste, the path goes back into the forest on a short uphill path. Cross Les Gravelles stream and walk along the little path next to it. At various crossings, continue straight on along the fairly flat path.
Cross another stream, La Rosière stream. The path continues until the hamlet of Montcharvet.
Walk past the lake once you reach the hamlet; the path goes down into the ruins then bends left before you reach the bottom of the valley on a dirt track. Cross the stream then continue along the path to the former communal saw mill. Walk along the tarmac road up to the hamlet of La Jairaz.
Return to the hamlet of La Jairaz a few metres away and walk to Saint Bernard Chapel at the top of the village.
