Mountain bike route - The Marcolès loop

Marcolès, a medieval town fortified in the 12th century, has preserved its two gates linked by the Rue Longue. Along this street, the heart of the village's activity for centuries, you'll find a line of dashing Renaissance facades with irresistible charm. Our group tours are available all year round. Born in the volcanic soil of Auvergne, Emmanuelle crossed the path of earthenware in Aubagne en Provence. She has two CAPs: Turning and Decoration. She loves earthenware for its flexibility: the pieces dance!Several techniques are used to shape the pieces: turning, shaping and stamping. The colours and decorations applied with a brush can be infinitely varied. The motifs are inspired by the plant, animal, geometric and textile worlds. A brilliant enamel, inherited from the bright lights of the South of France, is used for the finishing touch. In the boutique, you'll find objects that dress up everyday life or whisper to the stars... Open Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-12pm and 2pm-6pm, and 7pm in summer. Exceptionally open on Sundays for special events. Annual leave from 15 February to 15 March.

Hélène Mouton-Simonet, potière-céramiste, vous invite à explorer son univers inspiré des paysages à la fois sauvages et délicats du Cantal et de l'Auvergne.Elle crée et élabore, en grès de Saint-Amand, des bols, des pichets, des écuelles, des vases... et tourne et émaille avec l'intention que chaque pièce soit unique. Venez découvrir ses céramiques dont les couleurs et les matières naissent en atelier après un travail passionné de recherches, pour déposer au quotidien une touche de nature et de poésie dans la maison.

Whether you're an accomplished sportsman or a novice, you'll be able to enjoy 5 routes of varying difficulty. For the more adventurous, there are many other trails available from the base at Entraygues-sur-Truyère. For a full or half day, from 9am or 2pm, you'll have plenty of time to wander around and admire the beautiful scenery of the Lot valley. Not familiar with the region?
