This walk allows you to discover the village of Sivry-Courtry and the hamlet of Courtry. You will see the chapel, the dovecote, the château of Courtry and its farm, as well as the Ormoie farm, all of which bear witness to the village’s medieval past.
The devastation caused by the Hundred Years’ War in the region led to the reconstruction of fortified farms from the 16th century onwards. Sivry-Courtry allows you to see several farms representative of this Briard architecture. You will discover the remains of the old public fountain, the Saint-Henriette washhouse, and the Chaumont farm.
