Description

Starting from the TMB station in Saint-Gervais, this e-MTB route climbs up to the Col de Voza. The route alternates between forest tracks and narrower trails, offering a good variety of terrain.

This e-MTB route starts in Saint-Gervais-les-Bains and takes you up to the Col de Voza, at an altitude of 1,653 metres, an iconic pass between the Chamonix and Saint-Gervais valleys.

From the very first few kilometres, the steady climb begins along wide, well-maintained tracks, mostly through woodland. The ascent takes place in a cool, shaded setting, amongst spruce and fir trees, ideal for summer days.

A few more technical sections, dotted with roots and stones, add some variety to the ride without ever making it too difficult, especially with the electric assistance of the e-MTB. The route offers an accessible yet challenging climb, perfect for testing your abilities whilst enjoying the natural surroundings.

All along the route, gaps in the vegetation reveal superb views of the Saint-Gervais valley, Mont d’Arbois, Mont Joly and the surrounding massifs, offering lovely opportunities for contemplative breaks.

The arrival at the Col de Voza marks the culmination of a gradual and pleasant climb. It is a strategic point from which to continue on to other routes towards Les Houches, Bionnassay or Le Prarion, or simply to enjoy the panoramic view of the Mont Blanc massif.

A comprehensive and well-balanced route, perfect for an outing combining physical exertion, the joy of riding, and immersion in the heart of nature.
