With panoramic views of Mont Blanc, picturesque hamlets and forest trails, this mountain bike/e-MTB route links the Col de Voza to Saint-Gervais via a varied descent through the heart of the Val Montjoie.
Right from the start, enjoy breathtaking views of Mont Blanc before reaching the charming hamlet of Bionnassay, renowned for its traditional character and unspoilt surroundings.
The route continues along a pleasant, shaded 4x4 track towards Le Champel, in the heart of the forest. In this peaceful hamlet, admire superb views of Mont Joly and Saint-Nicolas de Véroce.
The final stretch follows the Val Montjoie path, a pleasant, more natural section that gradually leads back to the centre of Saint-Gervais.

Wearing a helmet and protective gear is strongly recommended; a mountain bike suitable for downhill riding with an appropriate braking system is required. A mountain biking guide is available from all bike hire companies in the valley as well as at the Tourist Information Offices.
Start: Col de Voza
Start the route by heading down towards Bionnassay.
Pass the Crozat car park and continue to the hamlet of Bionnassay.
Take the Chemin du Chalère on your left, then the Chemin de l’Ormey on your right.
Cross the Bionnassay torrent via the footbridge and continue along the path to Le Champel.
On leaving the hamlet, turn left and take the Chevreuils path to La Villette.
Once in the hamlet of La Villette, turn right and take the path down beneath the La Villette cliff.
Cross the Route des Contamines and take the path on the right after the bridge to Lac du Vivier.
Continue along the Chemin du Val Montjoie towards Saint-Gervais.
Cross the Route de Tague and continue along the path beside the Bonnant.
At the junction with the Chemin des Margagnes, turn right, pass by the Bike Park, and head up to the Plaine des Pratz.
Cross the Plaine and follow the signs for the ice rink.
Once you reach the ice rink car park, turn left, cross the Pont du Diable, continue along the road and turn right into the Châtelet car park.
