Mountain campsite in an exceptional and natural setting, favourable for hiking and discovering the Ecrins National Park. This campsite will welcome you for a restful and refreshing stopover at the foot of the mountains.A warm and friendly atmosphere. Come and enjoy a wide range of activities around the campsite: cycling, hiking, swimming, yoga, and herbalism workshops... You’ll be able to taste Cléa’s delicious pizzas, Tania and Pato’s generous plates, and of course a variety of tasty local dishes! All accompanied by a refreshing farmhouse beer or a flavorful fruit juice from the Trièves region. Campfires are allowed outside of drought periods. The Bonne River runs through the campsite, perfect for cooling off. The Valbonnais family lake is just 15 minutes away by car. There’s a market every Friday morning in the small village of Entraigues. You’ll find organic bread in the hamlet of Gragnolet, and goat cheeses and mountain herbal products in the hamlet of Le Désert in Valjouffrey. No reservations needed for camping pitches. Two caravans, a yurt, an equipped tent, and a gypsy-style wagon are available for rent by reservation.

Very rich area with lakes, wetlands and peatlands. This very nice walk will take you to a beautiful plateau. It is a real garden, nature sanctuary for many species.Lake Fourchu is the largest lake of the plateau formed by piles of rocks on northern part of the range of Taillefer. Dominated by the summit of Taillefer in the south, the lake is surrounded by lake Canard in the north , lake Veche, lake Noir, lake Agneau and lake Culasson in the southwest. The lake Fourchu was named because of its split shape. The vegetation around the lake is entirely composed with an alpine grass. The only tree is a conifer perched on the only little island in the lake. The lake is 2050 m high in altitude, it is frozen and covered with snow during the winter.
