On the rocky section, the path is quite narrow and a fixed cable is available for support.
From the tourist office of Alpe du Grand-Serre, take the Waterfall direction. At the waterfall, take a small path on the left of the sawmill and keep on the way to Prévourey hut. Then continue on a flat path that leads you step by step in the Louvet Cirque. At the Cirque entrance, walk up left side to the Prévourey hut. It is a shepherd hut with a continuous flow water basin.
Keep above the hut and turn right on a trail. 100m further, you will discover the Prevourey small lake with the surrounded mountains reflections on the surface. Keeping on to the end of Cirque, you will discover the waterfall that flows from the Brouffier lake.
