You will spend part of the day in the woods: the Bois de la Cambre and the Forêt de Soignes. A real green lung for the capital. You will also cross the Pajottenland in Flemish Brabant, southwest of Brussels. Pajotteland is the land of hops and beer, especially lambic and gueuze. It is a very fertile and hilly agricultural region between the rivers Senne and Dender and the Senne valley. It is part of the green belt of Brussels.
You leave Brussels via the Bois de la Cambre and the Forêt de Soignes. After crossing the forest, you will arrive at the foot of the Lion of Waterloo. You will pass by the provincial domain of Huizingen and the magnificent Beersel Castle before reaching the hotel via Halle along the canal. A day of hop tasting in prospect!
