Lay-saint-christophe fountain tourist circuit

Description

This tourist circuit showcases water through the ages on a tour of Haut-Lay and its history. Lay-Saint-Christophe is nicknamed the village of a thousand fountains. It is also the birthplace of Saint Arnou and his illustrious descendants.
Explore the ancient narrow streets to discover a host of fountains and admire the Renaissance (the Samaritaine, the presbytery, the priory whose most famous monk was Dom Calmet, etc.) and Art Nouveau buildings (the house of Antonin Daum). A fascinating tour!
