Description
The lookout over the Lac du Bourget and the surrounding mountains is simply majestic. "A place for contemplation".
An attractive little promontory, quickly reached, where you can spend a few quiet moments observing the surroundings from the reading tables. This steep mountainside plunging into the lake is dominated by a chapel. Take a few minutes to soak up the special local atmosphere, or pack a family picnic for a relaxing stopover away from it all. Between lake and mountains, this unique place will not leave your memory of landscapes untouched... This is an essential stopover on a tour of the lake along our picturesque roads.

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
1/ At the end of the parking lot, take the path towards the lake.
2/ Two lookouts overlooking the lake can be reached via the paths on the left (return route).
3/ Continue straight ahead to reach the Chapelle Notre Dame de l'Etoile and the last viewpoint on the site.
4/ Return the same way you came.
