Walk to the Plan Sec refuge

Chairlift for pedestrians and bikers. Open 6/7days all summer long, morning and afternoon. Within few minutes you are at 2150m above sea level, discover a unique panorama, easy walks and hikes without taking the car.Starting point for many hiking and mountain bike trails. Find yourself directly in the heart of the fauna and flora of the Vanoise. Access to numerous refuges, summits, dams and the high-altitude restaurant-hotel Le Montana and Peyra Levrousa. Take the "Evita Carnéa" downhill mountain bike route. The downhill track is named after a plant, the snow heather. The builders of the track had to avoid it all along the route because it is a protected plant, very present in the forests of Aussois. It is a marked out itinerary (a few flat or uphill sections) of blue, playful level which alternates between existing paths, new sections with whoops/turns raised/small modules and passage on the road to the dams. These three small chalets of stone, wood and slate huddled at 2320 m altitude are former alpine chalets fully restored.
