An itinerary adapted to discover the medieval center of Istres, typically Provencal, with free illuminated documentation.

The Tourist Office invites you to take a tour of the historic center, which will plunge you into the medieval past of our beautiful town, since the first written traces date back to the 10th century, in 944 to be exact.

This self-guided tour will enable you to discover the specific features of the habitat of old Istres, the way houses were built, the history and legends surrounding the town, and to climb up to the belvedere and the Church of Notre Dame de Beauvoir, which dominates the whole town.
