Saint Pancras church houses a 15th century saint’s arm reliquary. The building dates back to the pre-Roman period of the second half of the 10th century. It was rebuilt in the 16th century in a flamboyant Gothic style and its choir and nave reflect this style. The porch and walls of the first 2 aisles are all that remain of the original church. The walls are decorated with small arcades between columns topped by eight patterned capitals. The church also houses a Baroque style Assumption altarpiece in the left chapel beneath the bell tower. The sculpted wood altarpiece is of angels adoring the Eucharist and dates back to the 18th century.
Construction began in 1885. It was previously a simple chapel attached to the Saint Pancrace church in Veauche. It was then named after the patron saint of glass makers. It is Neo-Gothic in style and made of brick. You will see lots of decorative Lombard bands and inlays with geometric designs. Two polygonal bell towers topped by steeples and spires surround the Western façade. There is a rose window above an aisle in the Western façade along with a statue at the top of it.
Cuisine franco-turque faite essentiellement de grillades, préparée à base de produits frais.
Brick building dating back to 1416 with a pointed arch and two small semi-circular arches. Inside the building there is a cross and fountain. The water runs into a pool and this is used as a wash house. The building was recently brought up to date.

In medieval times, the town first appeared under the name of "Velchia".It only adopted its present-day form in the middle of the 16th century after the decree of François 1 imposing the use of French as the offi cial language throughout the entire territory. In 1794, its name was written Vauche. The creation of the commune was almost certainly a result of the existence of a very ancient road between Feurs and Saint-Rambert. Many industrialists from Saint-Etienne took advantage of the town’s location to build their homes in this region overlooking the Loire and the Forez Plain. The Church of Veauche Bourg or the Church of Saint-Pancrace, a listed Historical Monument, is one of the few French buildings from the pre-Roman period of the second half of the 10th century. In 1883, Veauche saw the emergence of the Cité Saint-Laurent workers’ housing estate, named after the patron saint of fi recrafts. Thanks to the glassworks, business began to thrive in Veauche. Today, O.I Manufacturing specialises in making top-of-the-range bottles there. Tours are available by appointment. n 2006, the Rond Point des Verriers ("the Glassmakers’ Roundabout") was opened, reminding everyone of the origins of the Cité Saint-Laurent.
