Located in the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful mountain lakes, famous for its unique panorama opposite the Mont Blanc Massif.The lake is composed of two parts. The place offers an exceptional panorama on the Mont Blanc massif. Its postcard landscape has been attracting tourists from all over the world for decades.

Accentuated reliefs and spectacular layering of flora characterize this reserve. From moraines to glaciers, a multitude of plants have adapted to the extreme living conditions. A unique balcony to observe the Mt-Blanc and its glaciers.Created in 1974, the Aiguilles Rouges nature reserve has a surface area of 3,300 ha and reaches a height of between 1,200 m and 2,965 m.

Facing south and looking onto Mont Blanc, the Flégère area is the departure for classic hikes to magnificent mountain lakes in summer and south-facing skiing with a view over the Mont Blanc mountain range !From the village of Les Praz, the gondola takes you over the Golf de Chamonix to the Flégère site at 1877m. If you wish to continue your journey, the chairlift takes you to Index, at an altitude of 2595m.

Quieter and less crowded than Lac Blanc, the Lacs des Chéserys are ideal for hikers seeking peace and quiet in the face of a unique panorama.
