Maissin: Along The Banks of the ‘River Lesse’

This hike is a combination of 2 walks: ‘Les Chaftées Louis‘and ‘Virée à Chêne‘. As you follow the “Lesse River‘ hike you pass the pretty villages of ‘Maissin’ and ‘Lesse’ on the trail.
Leaving ‘Maissin’, you pass through the ‘Pierre Massé‘ war cemetery (14-18). Then you’ll come to the Rivers ‘Our‘ and ‘Lasse‘. The Lesse river crossing marks the perfect place for a pretty picnic and relaxing break.
This is a perfect combination of Lesse riverside and woodland trails. A rejeuvinating trail on a magnificent route.
