The Rosaire Chapel
Description
Starting from the Tourist Office, a loop to discover the Rosary Chapel above the village and enjoy the historical paths and the forest of Saint Pierre de Chartreuse. Be sure to follow the snowshoe markers in snowy weather.
Opposite the Mairie, turn left into the Chemin de Mouquetière. At the next junction with the road turn right, then left at the next junction.
At the next big bend to the right continue on the small path in front of you and then take the climb to the right in the middle of the forest where you can admire the view of the village and of Chamechaude.
At the next crossroads take the path on your left to reach the Chapelle du Rosaire. Go around the chapel on the left and then cross the meadow to the trees and go down to the intersection "Chapelle du Rosaire" where this time you have to continue on the path on the left which descends steeply.
Continue along this magnificent path in the heart of the Chartreuse forest. At the next crossroads, continue straight ahead on the Sentier des Amoureux until you reach the road where you turn right. You will soon be back at the Tourist Office.
