Throughout the walk you will discover the vineyard principally AOP Bandol, a wonderful view above villages la Cadière d’Azur and le Castellet and also the “Fontanieu”Fountain

We haven’t found yet its date of creation in the archives. Its consists of three ponds. In the first, farmers, coming to work in the vineyard, put their drinks cool, it aslo served of watering place for horses and the two others were laundries. Near, it was a lignite mine, in activity from 1540 to 1940. It is no longer accessible nowadays.

Fontaine de Fontanieu

La Fontaine de Fontanieu : Nous n’avons pas encore trouvé sa date de création dans les archives. La fontaine est constituée de 3 bassins, nichée en contrebas de la route.Dans le 1er bassin, les paysans qui venaient travailler leurs vignes, mettaient au frais leurs boissons. Il servait aussi d’abreuvoir aux chevaux, et les deux autres de lavoirs. A proximité, il y eut une mine de lignite en activité de 1540 à 1940.
