Moulin en pierre construit en 1827, situé dans un site exceptionnel proche de la passerelle qui enjambe le cours d'eau et du sentier menant au Puy. Dernier moulin de Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans actif jusqu'en 1955. Restauré en 1993.Témoin d'une époque où les communautés montagnardes vivaient en autarcie. Les hameaux de Saint Christophe sont très éparpillés le long de la vallée du Vénéon, dans une des régions les plus hostiles des Alpes françaises. Les communications étaient très difficiles en hiver et donc chaque hameau devait, par nécessité, être autonome et possédait son four, son moulin et sa chapelle. C’était aussi le cas du hameau du Puy malheureusement, il n'a conservé que son moulin.

Les missions religieuses initiées par l'Eglise furent particulièrement fréquentes au XIXe siècle. Ces manifestations, qui comportaient des cérémonies et des processions, donnaient lieu à l'érection de croix, ou comme ici, d'une statue de la Vierge.Le belvédère à la Vierge du Collet offre une vue imprenable sur la vallée du Vénéon.

The cemetery is a magnificent memorial to the history of mountaineering in Oisans. It is home to the tombs of mountaineers who set out to conquer the summits, as well as valley guides and their patient wives.The oldest tombs, two obelisks side by side, are those of Emile Zsigmondy, an eminent Austrian mountaineer, and Ernest Torrent, who both lost their lives on the Meije in 1885 and 1896. The tomb of Pierre Gaspard, a local boy who was the first to climb the Meije, with Emmanuel Boileau de Castelnau, on 16 August 1877, takes the form of a double rock topped with an ice axe. The many foreign names on the stelae show that these mountaineers often came from far away to conquer the summits. In addition to these tombs, there are numerous commemorative plaques set in stone at the entrance of the cemetery.
