The Bois des Rêves regularly has Nordic walkers coming to train for therapeutic or sporting purposes. Nordic walking is popular with people who simply want to stay in shape. The geographic characteristics of the Bois des Rêves are well suited for this sport in several ways. Nordic walking is a relatively recent sport in its current guise. It is a sporty form of walking using special sticks and regular practice helps to improve fitness and also posture. The specific characteristic of this activity is unquestionably the active use of the sticks as well as the exaggerated movements compared to ordinary walking without sticks. Please note: when doing Nordic walking in the Bois des Rêves, please be respectful of other users of the same paths.
