Hiking Trail: Panoramic Loop
Description
This hike takes you to the Rosay lookout point (712 m) along the GR trail along the Lake Geneva shoreline.
Along the way, you’ll discover the area’s biodiversity: remarkable trees, chestnut groves, and orchards.
This hike around Lugrin starts from the hamlet of Chez Les Servoz. You will walk along the Parrau meadows and its chestnut trees.
You will cross the hamlet of Curtenay where you can discover the typical local architecture of its houses.
After reaching the Rosay viewpoint with its magnificent view of Lake Geneva, you will cross the Bois de la Dame, overlooking the Presles farm.
A nice loop to discover the "country and the locals"!

No matter what hike you’re planning, be sure to wear good hiking shoes and pack the following in your backpack: granola bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, as well as clothing appropriate for your outing, depending on the season and the forecast.
Guidebook with maps/step-by-step
0/ Start at the hamlet “Chez les Servoz” in Lugrin. If you’re coming by bus on Evad Line 4, get off at the Maxilly Village stop.
1/ Take the small forest path that climbs through the woods toward Curtenay and Neuvecelle along the GR de Pays Littoral du Léman trail. Along the way, you’ll cross the RD; continue following the GR.
2/ Next, follow the small road “Chemin de Presles,” then take Route de Beuge on your left.
3/ Cross the departmental road and head toward “Le Rosay”; follow the trail that leads to the lookout point.
4/ Next, head toward Lonvernay.
5/ Follow the trail down through the forest to reach the hamlet “Chez les Servoz.”
