The Medicinal Plants Walking Tour

Chamomile, angelica, elderberries, dandelions… just some of the plants that line this route and remind us of Flobecq’s reputation for growing “simple” medicinal plants from the 16th century until the 1950s. The route will introduce you to Jean-François Massart, an artist who has studded the trail with original sculptures that explain the healing properties of the medicinal plants and the techniques used by herbalists. After the walk, you can relax in the gardens, on the terrace or in the restaurant at the House of Medicinal Plants.
