Famous for its brewery and its local produce, Silly is also recognised for its superb undulating countryside, its rural heritage and its woods, which are among most beautiful of the region! The national forest, a 300-hectare beech grove, is crossed by the Sille, a tributary of the Dendre. Every year, it accommodates the “Online Site” tree-trunk sculpture contest The 21km circuit crosses the woods and extends into the nearby villages. It takes you to the discovery of an open-air exhibition of wood and iron sculptures created by two of the region’s artists. Some castles and farms are along the way. Slow Food producers close by.
