Warning: Swimming and fishing prohibited from 15/08 - presence of cyanotoxins. L’Estanquiol: free swimming area supervised in July and August everyday afternoons. Fishing activity (1st category = whitefish): Specific local card on sale at the Calvinet post office: 5 trout per day, €6 per adult per day or €40 per season.Subject to suitable bathing and fishing conditions.

The fortress that once overlooked Calvinet must have been quite a sight. Don't look for it, it was razed to the ground four centuries ago, but the village has retained all its character, and it's easy to guess that it knew glorious times:
