Hiking trail "The Devil's Hole".

This circuit will allow you to discover the architecture of the region, the viewpoints on the Châtaigneraie, but also the surprising site of the Trou du Diable (‘The Devil’s Hole’), an extraordinary chaos of rocks which bar the course of the River Rance and in which the swirling waters have dug remarkable rimstones (stones polished by the waters) over the centuries. Since then, the popular imagination has made its way... and the legend of the Devil's Hole was born…
