A very undulating route, mainly through woods with parts crossing streams. Not recommended for push chairs. Wear high-cut walking boots or Wellington boots. Not to be missed: the Moulin de Chevlipont mill, with its waterwheel and ponds. A stop at "l'Etoile" is also recommended before returning to the Abbey.

Go through the Porte de Namur. 20 metres further on, turn right onto a track that climbs up the banking. Continue on this track. At the fork, continue upwards and left, cross the road and follow the track which bends left and then right.

On arrival at a T-junction, turn left twice and then follow the Ry Pirot stream. (cont.) On arrival at the Ry Pirot stream, turn right (), uphill. At the Y-junction, turn left and leave the marked trail (). Cross the crossroads and follow the white and green trail markers: the track leads left and then immediately bends round to the right.
At the fork, turn left. At the crossroads, turn left and continue straight ahead (). Ignore the tracks to the right.
On arrival at the railway, turn left alongside the railway. Follow the track which drops down below the railway embankment. Keep to the right and follow the trail markers. Cross Ry Pirot.
Cross the rails at the level crossing and continue straight ahead. Just before the private property, turn left on to a small wooded track. Cross the Ry Saint-Jean stream and continue. At the T-junction, turn left and walk under the railway. Stay on the main track, always turning to the right as it goes uphill.
