Stroll of the hedgerow landscape

The rural roads in this itinerary cross the orchards and bocages of Pays de Herve. The itinerary takes in the beautiful undulations formed by the region’s hills and small valleys. One can visit the Cistercian Abbey of Val Dieu, a high spiritual place that welcomes pilgrims, along with its brewery. The site offers tastings of one of the special beers brewed on-site, as well as a visit to the abbey. The bike ride then takes you through one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, Clermont-sur-Berwinne. Take a break and admire its rich architectural heritage! Next, join the famous Line 38 to return to the starting point.
