Description
This trail will take you on a tour of the village of Flérier. Along flat trails and some sections on tarmac roads, this trail will take you on a discovery of a small hamlet with traditional architecture and Gothic-style chapel.

Go over the walkway, before beginning the trail on the left, alongside the river (the Foron). You’ll then ride through the undergrowth and when you reach a second walkway, go straight on along the green path towards the Lac de Flérier (reservoir lake). Go around the lake and then back to the road, then turn left and after a few metres, turn right and continue along this path that runs alongside the fish farm. Then turn right, go up a steep path before riding alongside the farm until you reach the road. At the junction, go right and then carry on along this road which leads to the centre of the village where you’ll see a chapel, bread oven (still used for the bread celebrations on the 15th August) and the wash-house. To end the loop, take the road to the right of the wash-house. Keep going on this road and go back into the forest. When you enter the undergrowth, turn right immediately and then go straight on along the banks of the Foron until you reach the departure point near the town hall.
