The Charmes de Seythenex loop is an easy half-day hike.
The hike takes in the Seythenex plateau and the hamlet of Les Combes with its chapel.

Access (by car): From Annecy, join Faverges (D1508 then D2508). Once in Faverges, take the D12 and then the Route des Grottes to reach your parking lot.

Whatever your hike, remember to pack cereal bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, and clothing appropriate to the season and weather forecast.
1/ From "Seythenex (Grotte et Cascade )" follow "Seythenex (Eglise)".
2/ At "Seythenex (Eglise)", follow signs for "Les Combes par le Tertenoz", then "Les Combes". You will pass the following signposts: "Seythenex (Mairie)", "Pont de Seythenex" and "Le Tertenoz (Oratoire)" before reaching "La Recorbaz".
3/ At "La Recorbaz", head for "Les Combes (parking) par Le Parchet", then "Les Combes (parking)", passing the signposts for "Le Parchet" and "Les Combes (Gîte)".
4/ From "Les Combes (Gîte)", follow signs for "Seythenex par Les Combes (Chapelle)". You will pass the following signposts: "Les Combes (Parking)" and "Les Combes (Chapelle)" before arriving at "La Recorbaz".
5/ Once you've reached "La Recorbaz", return to the starting point by the same route as on the outward journey. Just follow the signs for "Seythenex par le Tertenoz", then "Seythenex (direct)" and finally "Seythenex (Grotte et Cascade)" to reach your starting point.
