Lac de la grande Léchère

Departing from Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, this road bike itinerary offers a gradual immersion into the heart of the Savoyard mountains, combining demanding sport with unspoilt scenery. After a rolling valley exit to warm up, the route gradually rises on quiet secondary roads, ideal for finding your rhythm.
The climb then becomes steadier, with regular gradients of between 7 and 9%, punctuated by a few steeper sections requiring good effort management. Overall, the road surface is in good condition, suitable for sports riding, and traffic remains limited, enhancing the pleasure of riding.
