Description
Nice trek in the forest. Beautyful view on the village and the Mont Blanc.
From Nancroix, cross the brook by the bridge (pont romane) and follow the forest road to the right until top. Halflway up, take the road to the right and in 100 meters you arrive in "Les Esserts". To "Les Bauches" just follow the main forest road to the top.

From Nancroix - Pont Romano, (1,420m) join the Thovex by the pastoral track, (towards Les Bauches) (1 h)
In the bend upstream of the Thovex clearing, start of the guards' path (foresters) which will cross the whole slope. There are 3 paths back to the pastoral track. Depending on the time you have available! Vast spruce woods with a few pine colonies and hardwood runs in the avalanche paths. A walk focusing on forest flora.
Difficulty: Medium. Half of it on paths. Some aerial steps.
