Circuit of "Montraillant"

The Tours de Montmayeur is a Medieval site containing the remains of a 12th-century motte-and-bailey castle. Its north-eastern tower rises over 20m above the ground.Other than numerous remains dug up by archaeological excavations, the keep, outer walls, 'aula' (lord's house), kitchen and church, the attraction of the Tours de Montmayeurs is its strategic location overlooking the Combe de Savoie, offering visitors a 360° panorama over Les Bauges, the Massif de Belledonne and Chartreuse. The magical setting of this outstanding site will enchant children and adults alike.

The sports and recreation park of lake Saint-Clair is a place where all the family can relax. It is accessible to disabled people and there are picnic tables, a restaurant and a mini-golf. Fishing is possible as well as swimming (not watched). There are also a camping site and a parking area nearby.The Lac Saint-Clair leisure park is an ideal place for the whole family to relax. The tour of the lake, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility, is dotted with picnic tables to enjoy a convivial moment in the heart of nature. In fine weather, children can play in the free, secure water play area. Sports enthusiasts have access to outdoor fitness machines and a fitness trail. New for 2025: an open-access pumptrack, suitable for all levels. The lake is also an ideal place for fishing (trout, pike, etc.), from April 1 to December 31. The lake is managed by AAPPMA La Truite Arc-en-Ciel.
