Nature reserve golf area

A total change of scenery guaranteed!

The protected site of Rouhling-Sarreguemines looks very much like Canada. Under our eyes, the fauna and flora abound on 11 hectares.
The golf course was built around this protected site. Marly slopes, mesophilic grassland and a humid wooded area crossed by a stream are managed by the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de Lorraine.

Several remarkable species have found refuge on the site. Grey Shrike, Whinchat, Common Kingfisher... No less than 69 species of birds can be found here!
To complete this small ecosystem, 88 species of insects inhabit the 14 types of natural environment that make up the site. There are also five species of amphibians, including the Crested Newt.

The flora is not to be outdone, with 246 plant species making their home here. The meadow scabious, a protected species in Lorraine, colours this area with its beautiful purple accents.
