Claracq Lalonquette par la villa gallo-romaine
Description
The path links the Gallo-Roman museum of Claracq to the ancient villa of Lalonquette and invites you to discover the historical site in its landscape dimension. Complementary to the visit of the museum and/or the ancient villa, this walk remains relevant on its own. It offers remarkable points of view on the Pyrenees and the hillsides of the territory as well as an overview of the typical architecture of the Vic-Bilh.
Marked out and marked out with informative, playful and educational devices, it tells you the story of the men who lived in the valley of Gabas, and illustrates a return to the origins from the 19th century to Antiquity. Take the path in the opposite direction to return.
The walk is also commented on smartphone. You will discover 11 points of attraction to finally arrive on the site of the Gallo-Roman villa of Lalonquette.

Etape 1
A 300 m du musée par la rue principale, passer derrière l’église de Claracq, rejoignez la plaine en prenant le chemin qui descend dans la forêt, en tournant à gauche à la seconde intersection. Au pied du coteau, prenez à gauche puis de suite à droite pour traverser la plaine vers la passerelle du Gabas, en laissant l’ancien moulin sur votre gauche.
Etape 2
Prendre à droite après la passerelle pour rejoindre le site de la villa. Pour aller à Lalonquette, longer la rivière par la piste empierrée et prendre à gauche sur le goudron.
Etape 3
A 1 km, traverser la RD 219 puis tourner à droite 900 m plus loin pour remonter le coteau par un chemin empierré. Au sommet, prendre à droite et de suite à gauche dans le chemin herbeux, puis deux fois à droite sur les intersections goudronnées.
Etape 4
Rejoindre le centre-bourg de Lalonquette.
