See a different side of the Côte d’Azur, with medieval villages surrounded by luxurious Mediterranean vegetation. Sainte-Agnès, the highest coastal village in Europ, overlooks the open bay between San-Remo and Roquebrune Cap Martin. La Turbie, famous for the Trophée d’Auguste, Monaco and Eze sur Mer are also on the menu.
Access
Reach Menton on the A8 or a train to Menton SNCF station.
You can head back to Menton on the train from the station at Eze-Bord-de-Mer.

Before setting off on any hike, it is advisable to check the weather forecast. You will also need to take account of any exceptional circumstances: the period when heatwaves are likely (July/August) is best avoided.
