One of the longest hikes in the Belledonne massif, offering a chance to explore an exceptional site with numerous high-altitude lakes.
From the Pleynet car park, take the marked GRP Tour du Pays d'Allevard trail that starts at the start of the Aigle chairlift or follow the yellow PDIPR plankets indicating the 7 Laux. Once at the intersection, take the path on your left then follow the marked trail to the Gleyzin chalet. At the cottage, continue to the left and then at the intersection turn right (The path of "Les 2 Ruisseaux") towards Lac Noir. Once arrived at the Black Lake, turn left: you will then follow the Carré Lake to reach the 7 Laux refuge. The return journey takes place along the same route.
