Starting from the Chinaillon Tourist Office, walk down the high street to the road leading to the old village of Chinaillon. Take the mountain pasture track to the right of the chapel and follow the path to La Bouvardière. The route climbs steadily to La Culaz and then Cotagne. Turn right to cross the Parchets clearing and head down to La Tannaz. Below the chalets at La Tannaz, cross the meadow to the woodland running alongside the Forclaz climbing cliff. Join the Plan de la Forclaz mountain pasture track. Enter the woods, following the signs for Haut de Villeneuve and the orientation table / Sur Villeneuve. Once you reach the viewpoint at the orientation table, follow the path to the left which leads to Le Grand-Bornand Village.
