L'église Saint-Etienne de Tarquimpol possède une tour ronde romane qui date du XIIème siècle. Elle possède un chœur gothique du XIVème siècle. L'église fut reconstruite après la guerre de 30 ans. Au XIXème siècle, 40 sarcophages mérovingiens (pillés mais non retirés) ont été découverts dans l'église. L'église possède un maitre-autel du XVIIIème siècle. Le cimetière autour de l'église abrite le tombeau familial de la famille de Gaita dont le poète occultiste Stanislas de Gaita.

Profitez de ce point d'observation pour découvrir tout au long de l'année l'avifaune de l'étang de Lindre. Il abrite quelque 120 espèces nicheuses. Les hivernants sont nombreux à y faire halte, parmi lesquels les grues cendrées. Des espèce rares sont régulièrement observées sur le site : aigle criard, balbuzard pêcheur, mouette pygmée, sterne arctique, pygargue à queue blanche.

All the interior walls of the church of St Peter and St Paul, erected in 1729 and adjoining a chapel dating from 1550, are covered with frescoes representing religious scenes created by the Abbot Abbot in the 1920s.
