Description

The circuit is a nature trail along the water and forests of the Soubestre... With its source near Limendous, north of Pau, the Luy de France crosses the territory for almost 20 km. Bordered by large areas of forest and farmland, it is one of the waterways managed in a way that respects the natural environment. Calm and tranquil in appearance, this watercourse can rise rapidly, spreading over plots of land during heavy rainfall upstream, and fall just as quickly downstream.

Départ

Départ : aire de loisirs de Montagut-Malaussanne.

Etape 2

Prenez le chemin à gauche en direction de Montagut et remontez jusqu’à la ferme « Lassaruque ».

Etape 3

Poursuivre sur la route goudronnée. Dirigez-vous vers la salle des fêtes de Montagut et prenez à droite le chemin de terre (silence : zone palombière !).

Etape 4

Traversez la forêt puis prenez le chemin à gauche qui longe le bois. Redescendez ensuite vers la ferme Campiat.

Etape 5

Suivez le chemin en direction du Luy de France puis remontez la berge (parcours de pêche) sur près de 1 km.

Etape 6

Arrivé au canal, longez-le jusqu’au bois et vous retombez sur le Luy de France à 300 m. Poursuivez le long de la berge depuis la bande enherbée jusqu’à la forêt

Etape 7

Prendre à gauche et rejoignez l’aire de pique-nique.
