Description

The Nied, a wild river that passes through the centre of Moselle, is ideal for trying your hand at kayaking. Although the descent presents few difficulties due to the gentle nature of the water, a few boat passes will give you a good thrill. You will enter a fragile natural environment with a rich fauna. Ashy herons, moorhens and kingfishers will surprise you with their beauty. Similarly, the wild flora, consisting of irises and water lilies, is only to be observed.

NAUTIC CLUB BOUZONVILLE

A moment of relaxation in the heart of Bouzonville, on the Nied, a small wild river that flows peacefully towards the Saar. As you paddle along, you will have the opportunity to see a kingfisher or a heron enjoying the calm of the place. The Nied is a wild river without any particular difficulty, ideal for family or friends, it is suitable for beginners as well as for the more experienced. Several routes are proposed, from 5 to 15 km. Possibility to go for a full day or half day with a picnic. Shuttle bus for the return trip, safety equipment, waterproof canister and daily license are included in the price.
