Thanks to the Club Vosgien for the creation of this hike and for the work done by its teams throughout the year to mark out and maintain these paths.
Marking: green disc 10.7km
Discover a magnificent landscape at any time of the year; in autumn the colors are magnificent; in winter, under the snow, it is splendid; and in spring, it is full of life.
From the centre of Épinal, take the D434 road towards Xertigny. At the second traffic lights after the Casino supermarket, turn right. You’ll pass under a railway bridge to reach a small car park with an information board, starting point of the trail. From the car park, take the rue de la Devallée which is marked out (green solid disc and red solid triangle) which goes up in the direction of the supply canal of the Bouzey Lake. Turn right onto the right bank path, alongside the canal. Cross the bridge, turn right onto the Chemin des Murgères, go up towards the forest for 150 m, then turn left onto the marked path (red triangle) entitled "circuit des coteaux de Saint-Laurent".
