At the Lac des Bariousses, before going round it, it is a good idea to make a small diversions to the Treignac dam to enjoy the panoramic view of its reservoir.
The Lac des Bariousses in Treignac (99ha) is the ideal destination for a relaxing or sporty day out, with family or friends. On site, you will find a beach with supervised swimming, picnic tables, children's games, a volleyball court, a bowling alley and a snack bar. It is also possible to stay in a 3-star campsite facing the lake. The beach is accessible to all thanks to its PRM access (tapirail) and a TIRALO® amphibious swimming chair. The medieval town of Treignac is situated at the foot of Les Monédières, on the banks of the River Vézère. Old bridges dating from the 13C, chapels, a corn market, a 15C tower and numerous old houses make this an attractive town to visit. Treignac is also renowned for its white-water sports and has hosted the World Canoeing Championships.
