Description
The Tour of Le Ruan runs between Haute-Savoie and Swiss Valais. Over a period of 4 days you will explore wild, unspoilt areas and enjoy breathtaking views. This itinerary is relatively demanding and technical and is suitable only for experienced hikers.

Grenairon mountain refuge
Enjoy 360° panoramic views of Mont Buet, the valley of Anterne and the majestic Fiz mountain range with Mont Blanc in the background. The villages of Samoëns and Sixt and the Giffre Valley can be seen below.
Vogealle mountain refuge
Located in the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval nature reserve, this refuge is accessible in 3-4 hours of walking from the Fer-à-Cheval cirque.Comfortable and ideally located for hiking or stopping off on various alpine and wild circuits.
Auberge de Salanfe
Soaring alpine peaks, a crystalline mountain lake, marmots, ibex... this is a nature-lover's paradise!Situated in an exceptional alpine environment, our mountain inn is a stopping place on many long-distance hikes and trails.
